Acrylic Marble
Resists scratches and is readily repairable with sandpaper and a Scotch-Britetm Pad. Scratches easily and is not readily repairable.
Non-Porous material which resists staining and is easy to clean. Stains easily - porous material will absorb moisture.
Tough material which allows for lighter tables. Marble fractures which necessitates heavy tables.
Table design flexibility. Limited design flexibility.
Large selection of colors and patterns. Limited selection of colors.
Dinelle® and its new molding process provides reduced material costs. Material cost is high.

 

Acrylic Laminates
The same material throughout provides a renewable surface. Thin polymer layer provides the only protection.
Nicks, cuts, and scratches can be easily repaired. Nicks, cuts and scratches CANNOT be rapaired.
Cigarette burns can be sanded out and the original surface restored with a Scotch-Britetm pad. Cigarette burns are permanent.
Wide choice of edge and corner designs. Laminate edges are subject to breakage and edges are difficult to disguise.
Solid material throughout. Table top can delaminate and blister.

 

Acrylic Wood
The solid material continues to renew itself as it wears. The thin layer of finish wears out exposing the wood and destroying the appearance.
Scratches and marks are easy to repair. Scratches and marks are difficult to repair - matching stains - filling voids - applying new finish.
Hygienic surface with a wide selection colors and patterns. Wood-laminated tops have joints and can absorb moisture.

 

Acrylic Other Solid Surface Products
Cost-effective. Very expensive.
Wide selection of granite type materials. Limited range of granite type materials.
Acrylic based material with superior stain and UV light resistance and weatherability characteristics. Polyester based materials are not as resistant to heat, UV light, or weather as are the acrylic based materials.
